Recently ran into a customer trying to upgrade to SCCM 1610 but it kept getting stuck at "Replicating Content".  We are going to quickly go over the troubleshooting taken to resolve this.

So last article we modified the Configuration.MOF to start collecting inventory on Outlook Add-ins.  Now we are going to create some reports out of this data.  With this information we'll be able to determine the most popular Outlook add-ins and where it is installed so we can take swift action if it will be a hindrance to our migrations.

Extending Hardware Inventory in SCCM can seem like a daunting task but it can be extremely easy.  We are going to look at running a custom inventory against Microsoft Outlook Add-ins.  This is probably a common scenario that you very well might find yourself in right now to determine what add-ins might cause an issue with you upgrading Outlook 2010 to 2016 (or so on).

SCCM Corrupted Statistics

Corrupted SQL Statistics.  Yup.  A client was recently noticing the "Update Statistics" maintenance task was failing with the error message "Cannot continue the execution because the session is in the kill state."  Not a very friendly message at all.

SCCM Configuration Baseline

So I had a client that had a scenario where they needed to know which machines did not have subkeys under a specific registry hive.  Machines that had subkeys were considered “healthy” and if no subkeys were found then that machine was “unhealthy”.  And so SCCM Configuration Baselines come to the rescue.
